Dalam memposting sesuatu diblog,isinya semakin lama semakin bertambah apa lagi ditambah aksesoris maka semakin padatlah halaman blog kita. Agar halaman blog kita kelihatan tidak padat pada bagian menu arsip sebaiknya dibuatkan daftar menu dalam bentuk dropdown disamping kelihatannya bagus dan rapi juga dapat menghemat ruangan, sebab didalam blog semakin-lama semakin banyak postingan atau widget-widget yang akan ditambahkan. Jadi dengan adanya menu dropdown maka halaman posting akan menjadi hemat atau cukup. Bayangkan seandainya postingan kita terkumpul selama bertahun-tahun-tahun, berapa banyak ruangan yang diperlukan untuk arsip. Bisa-bisa habis satu ruangan kolom untuk arsip.

Adapun cara membuat menu dropdown adalah sebagai berikut :

Untuk membuat arsip Fulldown ini ada dua yakni untuk blogger dengan template klasik, dan template baru.

1. buka blog Anda

2. Klik Template

3. Di bagian sidebar blog Anda bagian archives, ada kode html sbb:

4. ganti kode di atas dg kode html di bawah ini:

5. Apabila selesai, klik SAVE CHANGES. klik DONE, lalu klik REPUBLISH.

6. Selesai.

Untuk anda yang memakai template baru :

1. buka blog anda

2. klik LAYOUT

3. Klik PAGE ELEMENTS, cari element (kotak) yang bertuliskan Blog Archive

4. Klik Edit pada kotak Blog Archive tadi

5. Di samping tulisan Style ada beberapa radio button, pilih radio button yang bertuliskan Dropdown Menu dengan cara memberi tanda tik/cek

6. Klik Save Changes

7. Selesai

keterangan di atas merupakan langkah-langkah untuk membuat menu Dropdown untuk Arsip, Sekarang membuat menu dropdown yang di dalam terdapat link,

Untuk membuatnya silahkan anda copy kode HTML di bawah :

1. open your blog

2. click Layout

3. Click Elements PAGE, search element (box) that reads Blog Archive

4. Click Edit on the yesteryear Blog Archive

5. In addition to any posts there are some style radio button, select the radio button labeled Menu with Dropdown how it TIK / check

6. Click Save Changes

7. Done
